About Dymind

Dymind — Shenzhen Dymind Biotechnology — is a Chinese in-vitro diagnostics maker based in Shenzhen, with haematology analysers at the centre of its range alongside immunoassay and other laboratory products. In Malaysia its analysers are met mainly in clinics and smaller laboratories. This page is a neutral buyer’s guide — it does not mean we stock Dymind analysers.

The range in broad terms

Model names, options and local availability change, so check the current specification sheet and the MDA register for the exact model you are offered.

ModelClassWhat the maker lists
DH26Compact 3-partBuilt-in printer and two-way LIS connection
DH36Compact 3-part21 reportable parameters, up to 60 samples an hour, a 9 µL sample
DH36X3-part with CRPAdds C-reactive protein to the FBC from the same sample
DH765-partLaser flow cytometry differential, up to 90 samples an hour
DF55Compact 5-partLaser flow cytometry with three-angle scatter for the differential
DH6156-part with reticulocytesLaser scatter with fluorescence, reticulocyte parameters and AI-assisted analysis

What independent evaluations found

Published studies are a useful starting point, but each comes from a single laboratory with its own samples, so your own comparison still matters.

DH76 against the Sysmex XN-1000

An evaluation from Bulgaria published in 2021 found good agreement with the Sysmex XN-1000 for most routine parameters. A separate comparison from Indonesia used the same reference analyser.

DF55, DH76 and DH615 against the Sysmex XN-3000

A 2025 study from a university hospital in Thailand reported good precision and strong correlation for most FBC parameters, with weaker agreement for MCHC and basophils. All three showed a small negative bias in platelet counts, and the authors advised caution in patients with low platelets.

What that means in Malaysia

Where dengue drives platelet decisions, include low-platelet samples when you compare a candidate analyser with your current method, and decide in advance how much difference you will accept.

Planning a method comparison

What to check before buying a Dymind analyser

  • Match the class to your workload: a compact 3-part for most GP clinics, a 5-part for busy clinics and laboratories.
  • Cost per reportable test at your daily volume, including start-up, shutdown and controls.
  • Whether reagents are closed (maker’s only), their pack sizes and how long opened packs last.
  • Who supplies reagents, controls and calibrators, and who services the analyser in your state — including Sabah and Sarawak.
  • MDA registration numbers for the exact model and each reagent.
  • LIS connection, report format and a sample comparison with your current lab.

Comparing Dymind with other brands

Compare like with like: a compact Dymind 3-part against other compact 3-part analysers, and a 5-part against other 5-part analysers. For a clinic, reagent cost at your real volume and dependable local service usually matter more than small differences on the specification sheet.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Dymind DH36 a 3-part or 5-part analyser?
The DH36 is a compact 3-part analyser, and the DH36X adds CRP to it. Dymind’s 5-part models include the DH76 and DF55.
Where are Dymind analysers made?
Dymind is a Chinese manufacturer based in Shenzhen.
Are Dymind analysers accurate?
Published evaluations of the DH76, DF55 and DH615 found good agreement with Sysmex reference analysers for most parameters, with a small negative platelet bias in one study. Verify any analyser on your own samples before reporting patient results.
